◇BOMCO product quality inspection and monitoring work shall be conducted by the Quality Inspection Department, and the process inspection, test and product ex-factory final inspection of the whole process from material procurement and entry of external parts and outsourced parts to factory production should be carried out according to the drawings, processes and relevant technical standards and technical documents.
◇The Quality Inspection Department has 111 employees, including 15 quality control engineers, 2 management personnel and 84 full-time inspection and monitoring personnel.
◇The Quality Inspection Department sets up 18 inspection stations in each production department of the whole plant to inspect the whole production process and each process of casting, forging, heat treatment, riveting, machining, assembly and other products.
◇The Center is equipped with complete inspection tools and all kinds of measuring instruments to inspect and test the size, shape, geometric tolerance, surface roughness, hardness and so on of products.
◇The MT, UT, RT and PT equipment provided in the Center should be used by the experienced technicians to carry out magnetic powder, ultrasonic, penetration and ray inspections for materials/ products and to evaluate.
◇The Center has 24 top-standard devices and 118 sets of precision testing equipment, has carried out testing and verification items in length, thermal, mechanical, electrical, physical and chemical aspects, and is responsible for the verification and management of more than 30,000 measuring instruments in the whole plant. Some of its testing instruments are as follows:
1. West Germany-imported PWF300 hob tester can be used to measure the helical line, tooth profile, meshing line and other items of the level-AA hob.
2. West Germany-imported 891E gear measuring center can be used to measure the measure the tooth profile, tooth direction, tooth pitch and runout and other items of gears below level-II.
3. Japan-imported M800A three-coordinate measuring machine can be used to measure the geometric 3D coordinate dimensions.
4. West Germany-imported Leitz testing instrument can be used to measure the pitch diameter, pitch, taper and other parameters of various thread gauges.
5. Japan-imported API check gauge can be used to transfer and verify all kinds of special oil working gauges.
6. The pressure measuring equipment can be used to verify the pressure gauge and the oxygen gauge below 250MPa.
7. The self-developed multi-point dynamic and static strain measuring instrument can be used to carry out the stress test of the derrick, substructure and other various large structural parts and the pressure vessels, and the instrument measuring speed and precision are high.
8. The American-imported CS-244 infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer can be used to measure the carbon and sulfur contents in various metal materials with wide measuring range and high precision.
9. The American-imported DV-4-1000 direct-reading spectrometer has 33 analytical channels and can be used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze 25 elements in steel.
◇As per the quality system requirements, full-time training and required assessment have been conducted for the technicians of the Center and the inspection personal in various production departments before work, and various measuring instruments used have been regularly calibrated and examined in accordance with national measurement regulations.
◇For all inspection results, relevant records and reports are completed as required, and these reports are transferred and archived in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
◇The Quality Inspection Department shall collect the product quality inspection information on schedule, make the quality analysis and report it to the relevant department and supervisor of the factory, so as to take corrective and preventive measures in time, adjust and improve the relevant process and management procedures, and ensure the factory products to be always in a stable and good quality state.
